概要

1998年から開始された東アジア酸性雨モニタリングネットワーク（EANET）は、ロシア､モンゴルおよび東南アジア諸国12カ国の参加のもとで、2年間の試行稼動を経て2001年より本格稼働している。EANETでは湿性・乾性沈着モニタリングおよび土壌・植生・陸水のモニタリングを実施している。試行稼動時では湿性沈着の測定が全参加国の38地点で実施され、2000年における降水の年平均pHは4.22〜6.42の範囲にあった。また大気中のSO2、NO、NO2, O3の濃度測定は2000年に8ヶ国で実施された。土壌・植生のモニタリングが2000年に6カ国の11地点で、陸水調査が7カ国の11地点で実施された。現在の所、参加各国がEANETモニタリングサイトとして登録しているサイト数は最も多い湿性沈着サイトでも2003年時点で11カ国、4４地点である。今後、地域の特性を考慮したモニタリングサイトの立地の適正化とサイト数の増加が望まれる。また、測定データの信頼性向上のためにデータのQA/QC活動の一層の推進が必要である。

Abstract

. In order to act against acid deposition problems in East Asian regions, the Acid Deposition Monitoring Network in East Asia (EANET) was established on the decision at the First Intergovernmental Meeting in 1998 among participating countries, namely China, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Russia, Thailand and Viet Nam. Based on the decision, the preparatory phase activities of EANET were started from 1998, and finished successfully in 2000. From January 2001, the regular phase activities were started. Cambodia and Lao PDR participated in EANET in 2001 and 2002, respectively. Major activities of EANET are, 1) to implement national monitoring of acid deposition, 2) to develop and implement QA/QC (quality assurance/quality control) programs, 3) to develop and implement training programs. The acid deposition monitoring covers four environmental media; wet deposition, dry deposition, soil and vegetation, and inland aquatic environment. Here, outlines of the results of major activities will be reviewed .
